Baby Red Squirrels

I was at my favorite marsh to check on the swans when a family of red squirrels ran across the twigs & branches in front of me. Momma squirrel had her 3 little ones out for an afternoon stroll and didn’t see me at first.

At one point 2 baby squirrels were play fighting right at my feet. What a joy it was to watch them! I shooed them away after a few moments as I was worried they were going to run out onto the road.

One thing I love about this marsh is that I see something new almost every time I go there!
