The Offering

After a summer rain this past week I went out to the yard with my macro lens hunting for raindrops. This particular one was twinkling on a fir tree and immediately caught my eye. I loved the way the rays of light were coming in toward it.

I’ve included a close-up view. What looks like a lens flare near the top of the drop is actually the sun going down behind me in the horizon :)
