Lucky Penny
I have NO IDEA how the penny got to be on top of that perch – all I know is that I did NOT put it there! I didn’t even see it until I viewed the image on my monitor. I’m sure there is a very reasonable explanation, I just don’t know what it is…lol
I would rather believe that an angel was thinking of me…someone dear and close whom I miss very much. That’s what we always say in my family when a penny is found in an odd place – that an angel dropped it down so we would know they were thinking of us and still watching over ;)
This little Chipping Sparrow has become quite accustomed to my presence. I can now get close enough to photograph him with my macro lens – although that’s not the lens I used for this particular image.
Photo taken on my property in Prince Edward County, Ontario, Canada with a Canon Rebel EOS XTi and 70-200mm f/4L IS lens.—-—-—-—-——-
